WENG Radio and dougmilesmedia to Broadcast Venice Indians Football Games This Season

VENICE, Fla. - Aug. 5, 2016 - PRLog -- WENG News-Talk radio (1530 AM – 107.5 FM) along with dougmilesmedia will produce over the air and online broadcasts of Venice Indians High School Football for the 2016 season beginning with the Kickoff Classic game on Friday Aug. 16th when the Indians host the Plant (Tampa) Panthers in Venice, FL at 7PM EDT. Games will be broadcast Friday nights beginning at 7:25 PM live online via Ustream.tv and rebroadcast on WENG radio Saturdays at noon.

Doug Miles will handle the play-by-play duties and Ed Schneider will be the color analyst. Miles has called games for Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton Prep and Booker High School as well as the SW Florida High School Game of the Week series and has called play-by-play for the Sarasota Millionaires and SW Florida Gladiators of the Florida Football Alliance. Ed Schneider has been color analyst on Lakewood Ranch, Game of the Week and Sarasota Millionaire broadcasts.

The Venice Indians under Head Coach John Peacock are perennial district and state champion contenders and are once again loaded with talent heading into the 2016 fall campaign.
