Celebrities Make Their Bet On Mrs. DC America!

WASHINGTON - Aug. 8, 2016 - PRLog -- Recently, the 5^th Annual Toast with the Queen 2016 (TWTQ2016) was held at the luxury hotel, the St Regis, on Aug 5^th from 6:30-9:00pm. Celebrities, doctors, lawyers, dentists, pageant queens and business owners celebrated the reigning Mrs. DC America as she preps to compete at the national Mrs. America pageant.

This year's honoree, Kinosha Soden, Mrs. DC America 2016, is a former prima ballerina and biology major. She will tout the platform "GEMS - Girls Excelling in Math & Science" at the national Mrs. America pageant, which is being held at the Westgate Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada on August 20-26^th. The final competition will be live-streamed on August 26^th.

Kinosha and her husband, Dr. Cyl Soden made their entrance to the TWTQ16 at approximately 7:00pm. Kinosha wore a shimmery blue cocktail dress by Meilun with a beige cloak wrapped around her shoulders. She thanked all the guest and spoke candidly about heading to Mrs. America. "I am honored and excited to represent the District of Columbia. I appreciate each one of you for your support. Vegas here I come!" The attendees clapped with excitement and you could hear some of them chant, "DC! DC! DC!"

Throughout the event, attendees sipped on champagne sponsored by An Officer and Gentlewoman, LLC (http://www.aoagwllc.com/). At one point of the night, the St. Regis host, Dewayne Wright, started the official "Toasting of the Queen," by sabering a bottle of champagne. One by one, friends, family and sponsors gave Kinosha encouraging words.

There were also several gifts raffled to include a Soderma Dermatology (http://www.sodermaskin.com/) $1,500 body sculpting treatment, a gift basket of beauty products from Waterfalls Wellness, LLC (http://www.waterfallswellnesscenter.com/), a dental maintenance gift basket provided by Lowes Island Dental (http://www.lowesislanddentistry.com/) and a Tory Burch purse sponsored by Fitness Together Georgetown (http://fitnesstogether.com/georgetown). The TWTQ16 also raised monies for the non-profit Vetsports, which focuses on the health and welfare of our wounded warriors through sports.
