BRISBANE, Australia - Aug. 11, 2016 - PRLog -- About the Client

Noosa Radiology is the largest radiology clinic on the Sunshine Coast, Gympie and Fraser Coast regions. Established by Dr Drew McMenamin in 2009, the clinic provides a broad range of imaging and specialised services across a wide range of modalities.

Client Objective

The team at Noosa Radiology needed their website to reflect their ultra-modern, cutting-edge practice that utilises the latest technology and their highly trained, experienced staff to provide exceptional service to their customers. The site needed to look equally impressive and provide intuitive functionality across mobile devices. The new website had to reflect Noosa Radiology's existing brand guidelines but emphasise the practice's 'people first' approach using imagery supplied by the client. A core component of the new website was that it must be easy to use – both for the customer and for the marketing team, who would be self-managing the site following the new site's development.

iFactory Solution

Every aspect of the new Noosa Radiology website was developed with the client's goal of a fresh, clean and contemporary look at the forefront of our designers and developers' minds. Creative use of the imagery supplied, together with information architecture that clearly conveyed the practices comprehensive range of services ensured that the new design stood out from their competitors.

The new responsive web design uses a sticky menu that effectively locks in place, keeping the menu on screen so that it's accessible from anywhere on the website without users having to scroll or click back to the homepage.

It was very important to the team at Noosa Radiology that they be able to update and maintain the website themselves, which is why iFactory built the new site using Joomla for the Content Management System (CMS). The benefits of using Joomla include:

• open source code – with updates, modules and components freely available
• site owners have full control of content, via the easy-to-use CMS
• site owners can also control menus and the positioning of all the key site elements
• a variety of different permission levels that easily manage multiple editors/contributors/administrators

Features

• Joomla Content Management System (CMS)
• Responsive web design
• Interactive banner
• Social Media interaction through "ShareThis"
• Search Engine Optimisation
• Google Analytics

• Enquiry form with database management
• Client secure area (staff portal/intranet)

iFactory supplied Noosa Radiology's marketing team with extensive training to ensure they were able to maximise the potential of Joomla's CMS.

The Noosa Radiology practice also commenced a new practice, Gympie Radiology, during late 2015 and iFactory was subsequently commissioned to build a separate, independently managed website for the Gympie business, subtly adapting the site's branding but continuing the same site functionality and design.

In addition to the new websites for both Noosa Radiology and Gympie Radiology, iFactory also designed a range of new referral pads and film packs to ensure the branding was consistant with the new website.
