The Best Internal Audit Departments are Advanced Users of Data Analytics

CHICAGO - Aug. 12, 2016 - PRLog -- Vonya Global is conducting a study on the Data Analytic Maturity Curve relative to Internal Audit Departments and the value Internal Audit provides to its stakeholders.  While the study is still open for a couple of weeks, the preliminary results show that the most effective Internal Audit Departments have advanced up the Data Analytic Maturity Curve.

There is a direct correlation between the value Internal Audit provides and the usage of Data Analytics by the Internal Audit Department.  Nearly 30% of the respondents who believe that Internal Audit has maximized the value it contributes are either advanced users or optimized users of Data Analytics.  This is compared to 0% of the respondents who believe Internal Audit only slightly provides value to its stakeholders.
