Follow on Google News | CMT and National Recording Artist Ashley Wineland Takes Her Show on the RoadSinger-songwriter reaches milestones in her career; sets her sights on Nashville…and beyond!
By: Ashley Wineland She readily admits the process has been hard work, however, her efforts are now paying off with some significant strides in her career. It was her music video "No Prince Charming", which caught the eyes—and ears—of some "powers that be" in Music City. This led to the country dynamo signing to Nashville Artist Management. And it's perfect timing…as Ashley is anticipating the release of her new single, "She's Gone"—the follow up to her debut CD, "Family Business". For Ashley though…it's all in a day's work. Her schedule is a hectic one that includes vocal lessons, music rehearsals with her band, the overseeing of extensive social media, fan club engagement—the list goes on and on. While others of her age bracket are eating pizzas and attending parties, Ashley is answering fan mail, writing songs, making appearances, doing interviews, and of course, as is her way--lending her voice to various charities. Currently, she is stocking up her motor home and pointing it toward the southeast region of the U.S. as she prepares to take her original music on the road. Part of this trip will be to support several important causes. For with Ashley, nothing is taken for granted…and she views her success as an opportunity to give back to others. Ashley is eager to pitch in and lend a hand…and her voice…for a cause. Being busy presents ample opportunity to utilize her global fan base (over 120,000 on social media alone/recently attaining a reach of over 1 million in a single week!) and her significant presence on social media allows her to tap into her significant following to raise awareness for causes that are near and dear to her heart. One of these personal causes includes animal rights organizations and charities, so it was especially exciting when Ashley received the invitation last month to be the celebrity guest of SeaWord San Diego—where she was given a personal behind the scenes tour of their operations and learned firsthand about their efforts to rescue and rehabilitate marine life. In fact, much to Ashley's delight—she was able to partake in the release of several rehabilitated sea lions back to the ocean—a memory she will carry with her for many years to come. She is additionally active in several charities that focus on our armed forces and fallen heroes. Besides participating and lending her voice to military-related causes, Ashley also puts her "money where her music is"--by donating the proceeds from her single "Red White and Blue" to various veteran's groups. Ashley's fondness for veteran-related causes has her and her band hitting the road to appear in Columbia, South Carolina, on September 10, 2016, on behalf of the charity "No Greater Sacrifice"—which raises funds to support the educations of the children of our fallen and wounded military personnel. The event, called "Touchdowns for Troops" will be hosted by Beta Theta Pi at the University of South Carolina. She will be sharing the stage with the award-winning North Carolina-based band, Southern Experience. She will additionally be joining Southern Experience in North Carolina on September 17th for the charity "Vigilante Truth", which addresses the important issues surrounding Human Trafficking. With her recent signing with Nashville Artist Management, Ashley will be making a stop off in her road trip to partake in a three day media blitz in Nashville, appearing on the television show "Nashville Entertainment Weekly"—along with conducting various radio and television interviews and several live music performances. And on this particular road trip, she will be carrying a newly acquired "prized possession"—the September/October 2016 issue of City To Country Magazine—with her image gracing the cover and an in depth interview within its pages. They say that good things come to those that work hard—and these days, when it comes to Ashley Wineland…it's ALL good!
