By: SAMMinistries These individuals are dedicated to service, and on Aug. 23, that's exactly what they will do--prepare and serve a homemade lasagna dinner to the nearly 65 families living in SAMMinistries Transitional Housing Program. "This group of business and community leaders are truly servant leaders," said SAMMinistries President and CEO Navarra Williams. "This annual event gives the Board a glimpse of the impact and significance of what they do." Each Tuesday, volunteer groups provide dinner for families working to transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency. The SAMMinistries Board of Directors selected this week to ensure students and families have a good start to the school year.
