Follow on Google News | Juergen Hase Hired as CEO for Reliance Group's IoT BusinessBy: Reliance Group Having over 25 years of experience in the industry, Juergen pursued his graduation from Technical University, Germany with majors in telecommunications. Previously he worked with Deutsche Telekom (DT) as Vice President for over a decade and also is a part of various global M2M associations. Last year Reliance had announced an IoT partnership with Jasper Technologies which was canned and later taken on by Cisco Systems Inc. Now the company is actively working towards leveraging the 21st century thought and mechanism across verticals. Reliance Energy has devised a way by working on smart grid management in order to keep a check on transmission and distribution losses and lower energy bills. Whereas, Reliance's insurance group is activating vehicle telematics to access the risk profile of vehicle insurance customers. One of the spokesperson from Reliance said, "Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for Remote Healthcare and Assisted Living and these (IoT pilot projects on healthcare, vehicle insurance, power management) are intended to be scaled up and made available for external customers under Juergen's leadership." This moment is of immense pride for the nation since big players of the industry are striving to keep themselves compliant to the changing needs and developing technologies.
