Denis Welch Motorsport At The Oulton Park Gold Cup

BURTON ON TRENT, U.K. - Aug. 25, 2016 - PRLog -- This weekend sees the final round of the 2016 Jaguar Classic Challenge as part of the Oulton Park Gold Cup.

The Denis Welch Motorsport built and prepared E-Type of Julian Thomas and co-driver Calum Lockie will be looking to bring home a good result. The pairing alread have 3 race wins out of the 4 held so far including at the Le Mans Classic.

The car sustained bodywork damage at the Nürburgring two weeks ago and it's been a real challenge for the team to fit and fettle a new bonnet onto the car as well as carry out all the race preparation.

Qualifying will take place on Saturday with the race starting on Sunday at 15:20. If you're attending the event please do come by and meet the team, the car and drivers.

Oulton Park offers a great challenge of corners and gradient changes all set in a picturesque backdrop. Viewing is particularly good at the circuit bringing the drivers and spectators closer together.
