Magpie Launches Range of Leather Accessories

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Aug. 26, 2016 - PRLog -- Magpie announces the launch of its unique range of personal accessories catering to those seeking unique and distinctive leather and canvas products. Our initial program will focus on high quality and stylish bags. All items are responsibly sourced from using only the highest quality materials, and constructed with care and respect to both our artisans and the environment.

All products are designed with the concept of Urban Practicality in mind. First and foremost, these products are functional. The placement of every zipper, strap, and pocket is carefully considered when each new product is created. While functionality is a must, we also understand that a bag is an extension of a carefully considered look and is as important as the clothes we wear.

The Magpie collection is made of vegetable tanned buffalo leather and/or canvas. This ensures an environmentally friendly process and a quality finish. All materials used in the Magpie collection are carefully selected and then assembled by local craftsmen who pay great attention to detail in stitching to ensure a perfect finish. Buffalo leather is well known for its resilience, texture and stain resistance.

Magpie is a family owned and operated company located in Brooklyn, New York. We started Magpie in 2016 with the goal of creating stylish yet functional products. Our Creative Director, Jessica, has a long history of design endeavors as an illustrator, photographer, and architect. She decided to start Magpie after becoming frustrated when she couldn't find a backpack that was functional yet fit with her personal urban aesthetic.
