Urban Oasis Offers Exclusive Behind the Scenes NYFW Fashion Tour S/S 2017

MANHATTAN, N.Y. - Aug. 29, 2016 - PRLog -- Urban Oasis offers exclusive NYFW fashion tours for the general public and industry insiders. Starting September 8-15, clients will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes in the heart of Manhattan's storied Garment District to visit fashion places normally closed to the public. Stops will include patternmakers, small factories, fabric stores, showrooms, landmarks and more.

Imani Alexander, lawyer turned fashion designer, launched Urban Oasis education and fashion tours to provide clients access into the fashion world. "Launching a successful women's and menswear line was one of the most challenging endeavors. The fashion business is ridiculously difficult to gain entry into and navigate as an outsider. We want to offer clients insight and education so that they are equipped with the tools necessary to launch a line, start a fashion career or simply gain knowledge of the business."

"These fashion education tours created in 2012 are the only tours available that teach the process of fashion design in a Socratic style method drawing upon the founder's fashion, business and legal training. This is experiential and clients leave me with a thorough understanding of the process," explains Imani.
