Emmy Nominated "Out of Bounds" Premieres at Action on Film Festival

MONROVIA, Calif. - Sept. 7, 2016 - PRLog -- The Emmy Nominated documentary "Out of Bounds" will have its first West Coast screening at the Action on Film Festival, Friday, Sept. 9 at 6:00 p.m. at the Krikorian Theater, 410 S Myrtle Ave, Monrovia, CA 91016. Directed by Noube Rateau and William Medero "Out of Bounds" goes into a in-depth discussion of how athletes deal with issues of the inner city, and how sports could be the vehicle to escape in order to find success.

This documentary brings together for the first time some of the largest local and national names in sports. ESPN's Stephen A. Smith, Jackie MacMullan, and Robert "Scoop" Jackson give their perspectives on the importance of athletes and finding success after sports.

Basketball Division One standout Brian Rudolph (New Bedford), All-American Matt King (Stoughton), All-Conference Kharee Louis Jeune (Brockton), and others are chronicled about their life in the toughest parts of the city and how sports was their ticket out.
