BOSTON - Sept. 15, 2016 - PRLog -- Just one month before the nation's most electrifying presidential election, renowned historian Doris Kearns Goodwin will open the 2016 National Electrical Contractors Association Convention & Trade Show on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 10:15 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

On Sunday, Oct. 9 at 10:00 a.m., former Boston Police Chief Daniel Linskey will offer leadership lessons from the 2013 Boston Marathon attacks to the electrical construction industry's largest audience.

Inspiring entrepreneur Mick Ebeling, CEO of Not Impossible, will deliver the closing session on Monday, Oct. 10 at 1:15 p.m. The EyeWriter inventor and humanitarian develops creative solutions for real-world problems, including prosthetics using 3-D printing.

Undergoing a significant industry transformation in a $130 billion market, 2016 industry research shows that 70 percent of electrical contractors now perform design/build work, 70 percent make system and brand decisions and 80 percent report a high or medium influence on overall electrical design.
