Lee Enterprises Consulting Adds Biogas & Anaerobic Digestion Team

SHERWOOD, Ark. - Sept. 20, 2016 - PRLog -- Lee Enterprises Consulting, the world's premier bio-economy consulting group, is pleased to announce the addition of a new Biogas/AD Team.  The consulting group, which now numbers over 100 experts has six divisions - biodiesel, ethanol, emerging technologies, biomass power, renewable chemicals, biogas/AD and business/finance.  John Forcier, P.E., a consultant with the group, will lead the new Biogas/AD team.

Forcier has a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont, and has more than 43 years of experience in the planning, design, permitting and construction of small through multi-million dollar municipal and private renewable energy, biogas, anaerobic digester, wastewater and composting projects throughout the eastern U.S.A. He was honored as the Vermont Engineer of the Year in 2000 and was inducted into Tau Beta Pi as an Eminent Engineer in 1999.  His anaerobic digester/biogas experience includes farm-based, commercial, industrial, municipal and wastewater treatment facility systems utilizing biosolids, manures, food waste, glycerin, SSO, DAF and FOG, and thermal energy. Forcier will lead the Biogas/Team for the consulting group.

Lee Enterprises also added Mark Farrer, a respected leader in biodiesel to lead its existing Biodiesel Team.    Farrer has a Chemical Engineering degree from Georgia Tech and has been involved in many aspects of biodiesel for over a decade.  His work includes research and development of new production methods and processes, including one of the first commercial applications of a solid catalyst used in biodiesel production.  Farrer has designed process equipment and managed the construction of biodiesel plants. He has also commissioned and led the operations for two separate biodiesel facilities as General Manager and Director of Operations.
