PODS® Las Vegas Hosts Garage Sale Donation Drive to End Domestic Violence

LAS VEGAS - Sept. 21, 2016 - PRLog -- From antiques to other's trash and treasures, PODS Las Vegas will once again serve as storage for the Great Garage and Antique Sale to benefit St. Jude's Ranch for Children. On Oct. 8 from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Silverton Casino parking lot will be transformed into the ultimate garage sale for local residents to shop and sell their unwanted treasures.  Remaining garage sale contributions will be stored by PODS and donated to St. Jude's Ranch for Children.

"We are honored to provide our services to the Great Garage and Antique Sale for the second year in a row," Mike Smith, Vice President of Operations for PODS Las Vegas.  "At PODS, we enjoy working with the local community to help out organizations like St. Jude's Ranch for Children that helps so many get back on their feet."

St. Jude's Ranch for Children is a non-profit dedicated to transforming the lives of abused and at-risk children, young adults and families, by empowering them to create new chances, new choices and new hope in a caring community. Its programs offer a continuum of care for children and families to help break the cycle of abuse and neglect by mending spirits and renewing hope.

General admission is free after 8 a.m. or for attendees who are early birds, they can get started at 6:30 a.m. for only $5.  Local residents can enjoy an array of entertainment and enjoy food from local food trucks while shopping a variety of merchandise.
