Milan Dragway Keeps Cruising with Nostalgic Drag Racing Weekend

MONROE, Mich. - Sept. 22, 2016 - PRLog -- The Dream Cruise may be over, but on Friday, September 23, 2016, Milan Dragway will take car enthusiasts back in time as they host a full weekend of Nostalgia with vintage and funny cars, drag racing, special events, and a huge car show and swap meet.

The weekend event will feature a vintage and classic car show with over 100 cars on display, an automotive swap meet with over 100 vendors with hard-to-find parts and classic cars, a special appearance by Andy Rowan, from The History Channel's hit TV show American Restoration, and the return of exciting nostalgia racing on Saturday and Sunday.

Car enthusiasts and race fans will be treated to vintage car drag races from Funny Cars to Great Lakes Gassers, to Front Engine Dragsters, and a variety of pre-1990 speedsters.

In addition to the vintage car show, swap meet, and racing, the atmosphere of Nostalgia Weekend will keep visitors entertained with music, appearances by Rosie the Riveter, open access to the pit and staging areas, food, fun and plenty to do and see over the weekend event.
