"There's a wild, fun element to the story and ways for the reader to be in the comic, but it's also a serious story about revenge and the cost of it," Shiloh said. "The Senator loses his family in a movie theater active shooter event. It's a timely story." The Kickstarter project URL is https://www.kickstarter.com/ The project's official site is www.deadexit.net. The goal of the project is $25,000 and will pay for printing costs, artist fees and more. The campaign runs until November 19th at 11:44 PM CST. AMC TV star Rich Graff ("The Making of the Mob") serves as the artist's reference model for "Senator Warren", while New York City actor Ernesto Nodal plays "Josh Dakota." TNT's Tony Denison (The Closer and Major Crimes) is cast as "Director John Brandt." At the 2014 Cannes Film Festival, Graff was named Best New Leading Role (Male) and in 2015, Vanity Fair named him one of the 100 Brightest Rising Stars. Graff has top roles in 2016's My Dead Ex-Boyfriend (with Heather Graham) and Black Wake (Eric Roberts and Tom Sizemore). Denison is enjoying a 12 year run as 'Andy Flynn' on TNT's hit shows. Also in the works is a plan to develop the story as a TV series. "If the project was a full-blown Hollywood movie or series, these are the actors I'd cast," Shiloh said. "They have 'the looks' and the skills with the reel to prove it. It's exciting to have these actors attached because everyone has a career that's building." Graff will be portraying Senator Grayson Warren, a good cop and family man turned vengeful when his family is murdered during an active shooter event at a movie theater. After burying his family and healing from his near-fatal wounds, Warren runs for Senate and develops "The Program." "The character of Warren (portrayed by Graff) is a villain for the ages, whereas Dakota (portrayed by Nodal) is a character everyone can identify with," Shiloh said. "He's a man trapped in an upside-down world with no way out." Others cast members are Warner Bros. Records' recording artist Nina Bergman ("Agent Toni Jenkins"), Roxy Saint ("Jade Bloodworth"), Jimmy Star ("Johnny B. Hollywood"), Sienna Taylor ("Vanessa Caleccio"), Atlanta actors Martinez ("Agent Harry Mosley") and Reggie P. Louis ("Xavier Thompson"), Jeannie McGinnis ("TV Personality Liz Reynolds"), James Jay Bryhan ("Fitzgerald") The 128-page graphic novel comic book is based off of Shiloh's original spec screenplay. The color and pre-press will be handled by Pete Knipschield of PMK Creations who worked on Michael Jordan's book "For Love of the Game." The crowdfunded paperback will be available in the Continental U.S. for $20 which includes shipping. A digital version of the book for Kindles and computers will be available for $10. Backers can bundle the paperback and digital version for $25, or be a zombie, werewolf or vampire character in the book for $30.
