ShanyTown carries on the Van Zant family tradition of musical excellence, forging a new path with their own style that is wowing their audiences. ShanyTown cannot be pigeonholed as "Southern Rock", "Rock", or "Country Rock" band, even though they incorporate all these genres. ShanyTown melds these styles into its own unique sound.

ShanyTown is comprised in part by brothers ROBBIE MORRIS (Drums) and RONNIE MORRIS (lead vocals/guitar), nephews of the late Ronnie Van Zant, Donnie Van Zant, and Johnny Van Zant of Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special, and The Johnny Van Zant Band.

Signing on with Chappell Entertainment, they are eager and excited to start touring nationally along with a possible European tour.
