The Narrow Boat at Weedon is Finalist in Daily Mirror 'Best Roast Dinner' Award

NORTHAMPTON, U.K. - Sept. 29, 2016 - PRLog -- It's British Roast Dinner Week, and the search for the best pub roast in the country is nearly over. After hundreds of entries, covering everything from traditional carveries to trendy gastropubs, the judges have announced a final shortlist of sensational roasts from all over the country. The winner for the Midlands is The Narrow Boat at Weedon.

Their big portions of delicious Herefordshire roast beef and lamb, as well as their amazing mini hog roast pork made them stand out from the competition.

The judges said: "The Narrow Boat at Weedon gives its customers the chance to watch the canal flow past as they enjoy an elegant Sunday lunch. The judging panel rated the locally sourced meat and veg that gives Northampton its chance to shine."

One of these regional winners will be awarded the ultimate prize, and be named Britain's Best Roast Dinner 2016, in association with Colman's.



A panel of judges, including top food critic Charles Campion, will now pick a winner, with the victorious pub unveiled on The Mirror website at the end of British Roast Dinner Week this Sunday.
