Third Annual RESOLUTIONS Juried Art Competition sponsored by Hillsborough Gallery of Arts

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. - Dec. 16, 2016 - PRLog -- Members of the Hillsborough Gallery of Arts are celebrating the third annual Juried Art Competition, RESOLUTIONS 2017.  The Gallery received 152 entries from artists residing all over North Carolina, from Asheville to Wrightsville Beach. Gallery members were thrilled to receive so many outstanding entries once again in this third annual event. This year 29 pieces of art, both 2D and 3D including paintings, photography, textiles, ceramics,  sculpture and mixed media have been selected for the show which will open on January 4th 2017, and will be up through January 22nd.

Awards juror, Dr. Lawrence Wheeler, Direc­tor of the North Car­olina Museum of Art in Raleigh, North Carolina will be in attendance and present awards at the opening reception on Friday, January 13th from 6 to 9pm.
