Service Robots Units Sales & Growth Percent

ROSWELL, Ga. - Oct. 3, 2016 - PRLog -- For professional application in the year 2014; 24,200 units of service robots were sold in comparison to 21,700 in 2013. In these total service robots sales Defence sector has made a sale of 10,890 units. Whereas agricultural robots sold in 2014 was 5,700 units, having a market value of over a Billion dollars and a sales growth of 12 percent. In comparison to this milking robots accounted for 5,180 units' sale in 2014 an 8 percent growth over previous year.

Logistics systems have also shown the growth in this regard with a sale of 2,700 units in 2014 this is double digit growth of 27 percent. The manufacturing sector has made a purchase of 2,100 automatic guided vehicles. There has been a slight decline of 5 percent in purchase of medical robots in 2014 compared to 2013. Total number of medical robots sold in 2014 was 1,224 units. However in terms of value it comprises 35 percent of total value of service robots.
