Salon Nvious Presents 5th Annual Night for the Stars Beauty Industry Awards & Gala

DALLAS - Oct. 3, 2016 - PRLog -- All the glitz and glamour of the fashion and beauty industry returns to Dallas in December!  A Night for the Stars honoring the beauty industry's biggest names has been announced and will take place on Sunday, December 11^th at the Old Red Museum located at 100 South Houston Street in the heart of Downtown Dallas! Event kick-off time is 7 PM, and since everything is bigger and better in Texas, the locks will be coifed to perfection and the fashion will be fabulous!

A Night for the Stars celebrates the legends and icons of the beauty industry with ten different categories including Educator of the Year, Make-Up Artist of the Year, Fashion Stylist of the Year and Trade Show of the Year. Event founder and Salon Nvious Owner Trish Hill says she launched the event to celebrate those who spend their lives making others feel beautiful, "Being in the beauty industry, stylists, barbers, make-up artists, we utilize all of our time getting others red carpet ready; so, I created A Night for the Stars to give all those hard working men and women in the beauty industry a night to shine and to feel just as beautiful and dapper as their clients feel when they leave their chair!"

The gala and awards ceremony is also an opportunity for Hill to give back to the community. "I have been so blessed in my life and my career, and it's really important to me to put back into the community that has given me so much over the years. As a professional woman, business owner and entrepreneur, I feel a responsibility to set a positive example and be a role model to young people and serve as a living example that business ownership is attainable and that their possibilities are endless."

This year's charity being honored at the gala is The Gentlemen's Society which was founded by Dallas minister Dewayne Washington in order to equip young men with the tools necessary to become successful contributors to a thriving society, re-script unhealthy dialog that has been written for young men through their environment and life circumstances and to set new expectations and expand young men's sense of possibility. The program curriculum works by systematically training young men through twenty-three different courses from communication and anger management, to how to treat women and dress for any occasion. They also educate mentees on everything from fine dining to entrepreneurship all the while dressing for success. All of the courses steer them towards becoming gentlemen and most importantly healthy members of society. Hill concludes, "We are thrilled to be able to recognize and support The Gentlemen's Society. As the mother of a young son, I am grateful to this organization for their commitment to helping young men through positive reinforcement and instilling within them a sense of pride and civic responsibility that is sadly lacking in many of today's youth.
