By: American Mensa ARLINGTON, Texas - Oct. 3, 2016 - PRLog -- This October, American Mensa will celebrate their members and invite others to become part of this renowned association. In 1946, the US Army made first radar contact with the moon and the first automatic digital computer, ENIAC, was booted up at the University of Pennsylvania. It's no surprise that in October of 1946 the first Mensa meeting took place in Europe. American Mensa hosted its first meeting in 1960 and is the largest international chapter consisting of 130 local chapters across the United States.
Interesting facts: * The Mensa Foundation raises funds to provide scholarships for members and non-members alike in its pursuit to encourage and engage intelligence.
