The Doctor is In! Allena Willis Kennerly Steps into New Shoes for America

When she took on a new role externally, we realized we had to fill her role for our Mrs. DC America brand marketing. The 1st runner-up, Laura Clark, is also in an external position, so the next person in line was the 2nd Runner-Up, Dr. Allena Willis Kennerly. After consulting with the Mrs. America, Inc (http://www.mrsamerica.com) headquarters, we asked Dr. Willis Kennerly to step into the role of Mrs. DC America 2014 (Acting). Her face will now represent the 2014 year and she will make appearances on behalf of her 2014 team," the Mrs. DC America owner, Raquel Riley Thomas, states.

Dr. Allena Willis Kennerly is an Orthodontist licensed in Washington, D.C. and Virginia. She is also an entrepreneur, a wife, working mom, art collector, and activist.

A graduate of Spelman College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, she then went on to dental school at Rutgers University. She completed her Orthodontic Residency at New York University and received a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics where she was trained to use Invisalign.
