Last year Hobbs won the Gary International Black Film Festival "Best Youth Short" in the Director's category for his first project One Nation. The Ocktober Film Festival in New York was founded by Evelyn Stuart to create a way for individuals to express themselves though film and new media. Only eleven years old, at 10 the Baltimore filmmaker's One Nation was screened at 10 national film festivals and he won at four. His current film Naga Pixie will also be screened at the Sunrise Film Festival in Nova Scotia, Canada. In his new project Naga Pixie Hobbs plays Jason who teams up with friends as he tries to figure out why Naga Pixie (played by Trinity Breanne Perio) is always nagging them about things they think are trivial such as not hurting animals and respecting nature. In One Nation Anthony Michael plays Steven who along with his five friends (Jeffrey, Spice, Hope, Rose, and Brianna) decided that they needed to give back to the members of the Armed Forces returning to the U.S. after fighting for our freedoms. Global Stars Network honored Anthony with a total of six awards for his acting.
