LOS ANGELES - Oct. 6, 2016 - PRLog -- Independent developer Gerald Fairclough is happy to announce the release of Emoji Kit 1.1, an iOS 10 iMessage extension that brings a personal touch to your emoji. With Emoji Kit, users can take pictures and customize them with familiar emoji accessories.  A new sticker is created from the emoji and these stickers can be dragged onto text bubbles or sent as part of a new message. iPhone and iPad users can download Emoji Kit through the new iMessage App Store as well as the traditional app store.

"Emoji are an excellent way to express yourself and allow you to convey many feelings with a shorter and more personal interaction," says Emoji Kit creator Gerald Fairclough. "If you have ever thought to yourself, 'I like this emoji, but it would obviously be better with my face' then Emoji Kit may be for you! The whole point is to have fun and give your friends a laugh with the emoji you can make. You will also be able to receive these emoji through any conversation and see the exciting things your friends can do."

Along with sharing through iMessage, Emoji Kit also provides the ability to share creations via Twitter and Instagram to allow users to reach an even wider audience than they would be able to through iMessage.

Because it is a new iMessage extension, the app requires that users have updated to iOS 10 in order to install it. The app is listed through the iMessage app store as well as the traditional iOS App Store.

Emoji Kit offers a number of features to its users:

• Snap a picture on your phone using the front or rear camera
• Emojify a picture from your photo library
• Add as many of the emoji accessories to your picture as you want (40 accessories)
• Rotate and resize your emoji accessories once you have added them to your picture
• Share your creation on Twitter or Instagram
• Drag and drop your newly created emoji stickers onto text bubbles or send as a new message with text attached.
• Save an unlimited number of custom emoji locally on your device

Pricing and Availability:

Emoji Kit is free to download and available worldwide. Beta invitations are available upon request.

An in-app purchase is available for $0.99 USD and will allow users to unlock 20 additional emoji accessories (the app comes with 20 for free)
