By: Willig, Williams & Davidson Williams focuses her practice on labor and employment law, representing public sector labor unions and protecting the rights of workers. She will be inducted into the College during an induction dinner on Nov. 12 in Chicago. "Being elected as a Fellow of the College is an honor, and I am proud to be recognized among such impressive colleagues in the law," said Williams. Williams' notable achievements include drafting and defending Pennsylvania legislation on behalf of public sector labor unions to require all nonmembers in a bargaining unit to pay fair share fees for benefits negotiated on their behalf, thereby enhancing the economic and political power of public sector unions in Pennsylvania. Founded in 1995 on the 60th anniversary of the formation of the National Labor Relations Board, The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers is a nonprofit organization comprised of highly accomplished, well-regarded members of the labor and employment law community. The College aims to promote achievement, advancement and excellence in the practice of labor and employment law, as well as to share information and act as a resource for lawyers, academicians and more. Willig, Williams & Davidson partner Stuart W. Davidson was elected to the College as a Fellow in 2013, and Managing Partner Deborah R. Willig was elected in 2014.
