Alexander D.Melamid Enters Presidential Race

NEW YORK - Oct. 10, 2016 - PRLog -- In a dramatic turn of events, this year's presidential race has become an extreme sport event. In a bold move, noted legendary Art Activist, Alexander D Melamid, has thrown  his hat into the political arena with his own candidacy for the presidency. Confronting institutional constitutionalism with his flagrant disregard for birther issues, Melamid, a contemporary of both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, dismisses the argument of right and wrong, can and cannot, his grounds being that Art supersedes any structural limitations applied by governmental rule.

Melamid's outlandish attacks on the establishment surpasses any of Trump's media debacles. As head ringmaster he plans on bringing back the days of Circus Maximus. Confident in his success Melamid has already commissioned a marble bust of himself in the likeness of Cesar, following the age old tradition of great statesmen.

Melamid is on his stump box promoting revolution. Banking on his uncanny resemblance to Bernie Sanders he is hopeful in getting the majority of millennial voters. As a figurehead projecting loud decisive anti-establishment rhetoric, Melamid will no doubt find himself in their grace.

As for Melamid's foreign policy, he will use his Russian immigrant and Israeli citizen status to deal with the threat of Putin like no other candidate can.

Melamid is no stranger to public dissent, instigating the fall of the Soviet Union through his Bulldozer Art. His movement of Social Realism triggered national upheaval as the Russian people were coaxed out of their  hiding places, encouraging them to stand alone in defiance of communist rule.

It is with this bravado that he makes his call to arms with ram's horn in hand.
