Annual Editors' Lounge Discussion Panel Takes A Fresh Look At Careers In Film & Television Editing

BURBANK, Calif. - Oct. 12, 2016 - PRLog -- Whether you've been editing 25 years or 6 months, it's important to take a fresh look at the art and business of film and television editing on a regular basis to gain new perspectives and ideas on how to best hone your craft. The path to a successful editing career has changed quite dramatically over the past decade. Modern day editors not only need to possess a broader range of skills beyond just editing, but also be able to think on their feet and learn technologies on the spot with standard post-production workflows being a thing of the past. On Friday, October 28^th the Editor's Lounge discussion panel series returns with another exciting installment "A Fresh Look At Editing" with an evening full of advice and tips from a group of editors who have developed their careers right in the thick of all the dynamic changes currently going on in the post-production industry.

Journalist Debra Kaufman will moderate the discussion that will include film & television editors, Tyler Cook (The Originals), Ana Florit (Sharknado 2: The Second One), Carsten Kurpanek (Earth To Echo) and Chris A. The Editors' Lounge offers the opportunity to learn from post-production industry peers and networking with new and old friends.
