Follow on Google News | Mass Street Fish House and Raw Bar to Open this FallBy: Mass Street Fish House & Raw Bar With a combined 50 years of Lawrence restaurant experience, the team opening Mass Street Fish House and Raw Bar are well versed in the industry. Operator Ayrick Madeira, General Manager Laura Klein, Front of House Manager Ryan Gaines and Executive Chef Galen Zachritz cut their professional restaurant chops together at Teller's, and later through the opening of Merchants Pub & Plate. They reunite to introduce Lawrence to a mindfully sourced, fresh seafood concept that combines their collaborative love for historic Mass Street with exceptional service, a vibrant bar scene, and delicious eats. "We are thrilled to be reunited in this hot bed of restaurants & bars on the 700 block of Mass Street. Our team has helped run two of the best restaurants downtown for the past 8 years, collectively; Networking within the community provided the Fish House with a young pair of artists, Austin Meyers and Travis Andregg, of Strong Hand Steady Signs. They will use their unique style to create a visually exciting space. Mass Street Fish House and Raw Bar's menu features a rotating blend of boutique oysters, fresh fish entrees, amongst other options to appease any palate. The smoker left from many years of smoking and slow-cooking meats at the previous Buffalo Bob's location will be used to create a unique marriage of sea and land. The happy hour focused, craft bar will consistently feature two barrel-aged cocktails, alongside a wide craft beer selection, and a selection of red and white wines perfect for pairing with seafood and smoke. The restaurant will be sourcing premier seafood from Northeast Seafood, a distributor located in Denver, Colorado. Northeast provides restaurants in Kansas City, Lawrence and Wichita with the highest caliber, sustainably sourced seafood. ##### Learn more about Mass Street Fish House and Raw Bar at www.massfishhouse.com.
