Downtown Garden Party at the Ballentine-Spence House

FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. - Oct. 24, 2016 - PRLog -- The Fuquay-Varina Woman's Club Garden Party Fundraiser was held on Saturday, October 22^nd, at the historic Ballentine-Spence House in downtown Fuquay-Varina.  The Ballentine-Spence House provided a lovely setting for this fundraiser, bringing the community together to enjoy the beautiful day, along with raising money for an organization that contributes to many local projects.

The Garden Party featured a gift basket auction, raffle and a hat contest. Scones, Muffins, Tea Sandwiches, Desserts, and Iced Teas were available for each guest to enjoy during the event.

Hat categories "Most Regal", "Derby Ready", "Most Fashionable", "Homemade", and the "Fascinating Kate (Middleton) Award" were judged by Marianne Jordan and Beth Knox.
