Fun With Physics Booklet Available Online For Teachers

MIDDLEBURY, Conn. - Oct. 28, 2016 - PRLog -- Fun With Physics, an educational booklet with dozens of projects students may complete while visiting Quassy Amusement & Waterpark here, is available online for teachers to download prior to school fieldtrips at the landmark property.

 "We are certainly pleased to offer this educational tool for students and faculty visiting the park," noted George Frantzis II, a Quassy owner. "The booklet is packed with fantastic physics and math assignments and encompasses elementary, middle and high school grades."

 Accredited by the American Association of Physics Teachers, Fun With Physics was designed so students will use many of the rides at the lakeside park while conducting experiments and making calculations.

 The free, 38-page booklet may be downloaded at Quassy dot com under the Group Info heading. Click on Education & Fun on the dropdown menu to see the download feature.

 Teachers are encouraged to print the pages appropriate for their class levels and assign projects before arriving at the park.

 Other educational programs at Quassy are also outlined on the website, including the park's popular Wacky Science stage presentation which enlists students to assist. Many of the educational programs sponsored by the park are free with advance reservations.

 School fieldtrips are currently being booked for the 2017 season by calling 203-758-2913.
