By: Lee Canyon The National Ski Patrol's Las Vegas chapter is comprised entirely of volunteers who provide care and assistance in the event of an emergency within the resort and its immediate surroundings. Patrollers must stay up-to-date on safety and rescue training as well as maintain their certifications. The money raised from the event supports patrollers' rescue education such as avalanche training. For more information about the National Ski Patrol's local chapter visit http://www.leecanyonskipatrol.org. The Warren Miller film is its 67th film that highlights skiing and snowboarding in locations such as Eastern Greenland and Western Montana's Glacier backcountry. The film features interviews and commentary by ski film pioneer Warren Miller. TGR's film celebrates the company's 21st birthday and follows their team as they catch massive air from India to Alaska.
