Local Muscians And Comedians To Perform For St. Francis House

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Oct. 31, 2016 - PRLog -- Market Street Pub is teaming up with Gainesville area musicians and comedians to host a fundraiser for St. Francis House, a city center that provides services to the area's homeless.

What: Night of Music and Comedy to Benefit St. Francis House

When:Saturday, November 5, 2016, 9:00 pm

Where: Market Street, 112 SW 1st Ave, Gainesville, Florida 32601

The overall mission of St. Francis House is to provide food, temporary shelter, transitional housing, and related support services in a safe, secure environment for people in the Alachua County region who, for whatever reason, find themselves confronted with homelessness and hunger.

St. Francis House is located downtown where the homeless and hungry population is the most prevalent. We have a huge outpouring of support from the community regarding donations of food and clothing, what we need the most right now is monetary donations. This event was put together as a way to not only raise money, but to provide a night of local music, comedy, food and education about the homeless community and its needs.
