Colonial Courtyard at Tyrone to host Veterans Day celebration

TYRONE, Pa. - Nov. 8, 2016 - PRLog -- Colonial Courtyard at Tyrone will host a Veterans Day celebration on Friday, Nov. 11 at the senior living community at 5546 East Pleasant Valley Boulevard.

    The event, which is open to the public from 2 to 3:30 p.m., will feature guest speaker Paul Campbell, Commander of the Tyrone Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 4559.

    Six veterans who are residents of Colonial Courtyard at Tyrone will be recognized. Additionally, the veterans each will receive a baked pie as a special treat in appreciation of their service.

    "It is such an honor for our team at Colonial Courtyard at Tyrone to show our appreciation of our community's veterans, as well as all those men and women who have served our country throughout the years," said Lisa Cowan, Executive Director of Colonial Courtyard at Tyrone. "Our veterans are such a vibrant part of our community. They inspire us."

    The Colonial Courtyard at Tyrone veterans who will be recognized include:
