Follow on Google News | Waukesha Choral Union to Present Two December Holiday Concerts"Carols Old and New," featuring deep-rooted ancient and familiar carols, will be performed at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9 at First United Methodist Church, 121 Wisconsin Ave., Waukesha and at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11 at St. Catherine of Alexandria, W359 N5848 Brown St., Oconomowoc. The performance includes 16th Century Spanish carols, Shakespeare's "Blow, Blow Thou Winter Wind," Carol of the Bells, "Deck the Halls," Gloria and much more. A traditional audience sing-a-long will include several favorites such as "Joy To the World," and "Silent Night." Waukesha Choral Union has been performing live music in southeastern Wisconsin for more than 60 years. The organization is proud to collaborate with local musical artiss and schools to further its mission to expand the effectiveness of its educational efforts by engaging artists and audiences alike. Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors over 60, $8 for studnets and $4 for youth under 12. They are available at the door or online at www.choralunion.org.
