By: Library for Foreign Literature, Pearson The Pearson Space will be an education center within LFL, which will offer a range of opportunities for English teaching and learning by means of the company's extensive resource base. Visitors to the library will be able to work free of charge with Pearson's virtual labs and programs, printed books for language learning and teaching, as well as get acquainted with Pearson Publishing's new products. English teachers will also have access to free training courses & tests, followed by professional certification. The center will be equipped with 14 workstations connected to the Internet, where the digital services mentioned above will be available. Users will be provided with both individual work stations and a modern training room, which will have all the necessary equipment for open classes, lectures, workshops and other events. Pearson Space visitors will also be able to consult and talk with the center's employees, who can provide information and demonstrate the company's technologies, products, and methodologies Mr. Vadim Duda, Director General, LFL, said "Since the Library for Foreign Literature was founded back in the 1920s, it has always promoted the idea of spreading knowledge of diverse cultures by different means, in particular by providing access to innovative language learning programs. As a continuation of our century-old tradition, today we are pleased to partner with Pearson to present this unique project, which as we hope will change our visitors' view on English learning, especially taking into account the spread of language today".
