Molony brings to BLGY more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of design and construction, and has managed education, healthcare, technology, commercial, mixed-use and industrial projects, and has served in leading roles on design teams which have produced projects ranging from $200,000 to $2.5 billion in total construction cost. "Ian has a tremendous wealth of knowledge, creativity and an insatiable drive to go above and beyond for clients," stated Mark Brown, Vice President of BLGY, Inc. Molony initially joined BLGY in January 2005 as Project Manager, involved in design, production of construction documents, coordination of consulting engineers and specifications for various projects, including the design of Blake Manor Elementary School in Manor, TX. In October 2005 he returned to his hometown of New Orleans to help in the rebuilding efforts after Hurricane Katrina. Working for Mathes Brierre Architects as a Lead Designer and Project Manager, Molony was one of 40 community leaders and design professionals asked to serve on the Advisory Committee to the City Planning Commission for the new Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance and Master plan for the City of New Orleans.
