Personal Lines Insurance Executive Barbara Owens Named Program Manager of Century Risk Programs, LLC

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Nov. 17, 2016 - PRLog -- Personal Lines Insurance Executive Barbara Owens has been named Program Manager of Century Risk Programs, a division of Century Risk Advisors (CRA), which offers risk management and insurance brokerage services.

Barbara has over 35 years' experience in Personal Lines Insurance for high net-worth individuals in the U.S. and Caribbean. She holds the designations of Accredited Advisor of Insurance (AAI), Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) and is a General Lines Property & Casualty Licensed Agent (2-20) in the State of Florida.

Prior to this, Barbara was an Underwriting Manager for an international insurance brokerage, where she managed several personal insurance property line-slips with the Underwriters at Lloyd's of London and AIG Recreational Marine as well as operating as the Managing General Agent for Chubb Personal Insurance. Barbara's professional insurance experience began in 1977 with Sentry Insurance in Woodbury, New York, as an Automobile Insurance Appraiser. After relocating to Florida, in 1979, Barbara began her personal lines insurance career with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, as a Personal Lines Account Executive. Barbara ventured on to experience Commercial Lines Insurance Underwriting with INA (CIGNA) Insurance Co. as an underwriter for commercial automobile, property and workers' compensation insurance.  She then joined CRA President/CEO Ron Reshefsky at Century Financial Services as a Personal Lines Account Executive creating a Private Client Services division.

Barbara is an active member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, enjoys traveling, walking, winter sports, boating and spending time with her family and friends.
