BP Auto Spares India Speaks About How Tata Hexa Fares Against Its Rivals

Once launched, the Tata Hexa will have to compete with the Mahindra XUV 500 and Toyota Innova Crysta. BP Auto Spares India compares the specs of all the three cars and reveals how much this new vehicle scores in competition with the others.

GENERAC, France - Nov. 19, 2016 - PRLog -- It is being said that Tata Hexa, the newest car from the house of Tata Motors, will majorly compete with the Mahindra XUV500 and the Toyota Innova Crysta. The Senior Partner of BP Auto Spares India, a renowned dealer of Tata Spare Parts, speaks about the features of this new Tata entrant and compares them with that of its competitors.

He says, "In terms of dimensions, the Hexa is the longest and widest in its segment. It is about 200 mm and 50 mm longer than the XUV500 and the Crysta respectively. When it comes to the wheelbase, it is again longer than the XUV500 and the Crysta by 150 mm and 100 mm respectively."

Speaking about the engine and performance, he says, "Hexa and XUV 500 offer the same 2.2-litre 4-cylinder engine. Crysta, however, offers two diesel options, 2.4-litre and 2.8-litre. Nonetheless, on paper, Hexa renders the maximum output of 156 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque. In comparison, the Mahindra SUV churns 140 PS of power and 330 Nm of torque, and the Toyota variant pumps 150/174 PS of power and 343/360 NM of torque. In the gearbox department, all of them provide a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The ground clearance for Hexa and XUV 500 is the same, which stands at 200mm. Crysta offers a tad lesser ground clearance of 167mm."

Commenting on the interiors of all the three vehicles, he says, "All three of them flaunt stylish and classy interiors, and include the features of navigation system, music-system, AC vents, power adjustable driver seat, climate control system, cruise control, and much more. Additionally, Hexa also offers Juke car app, smart remote app, Connectnext infotainment system, and enhanced connectivity options. The Mahindra car comes with a Bluesense app that renders tyre pressure & other important information and enables the passengers to control audio and music from their phones. On the other hand, Crysta brings trays for the second row of seats."

He says, "After comparing all the three car models, it seems that Crysta loses out on the other two, owing to the absence of a 4x4 transmission system. Both the Mahindra and Tata cars offer all those features and technical specs which one would ever want from an SUV."
