Casa Esperanza Of Angels Foundation Schedules New Year Community Outreach Project In Tanjay City

TANJAY CITY, Philippines - Nov. 21, 2016 - PRLog -- Casa Esperanza of Angels (CEA) Foundation, Inc. , the nonprofit organization currently building an orphan care facility in this city, has scheduled a community outreach program in January 2017 to benefit needy children and their families.

"This is a community outreach for children and families who are in need of assistance for daily needs," shared Ronald Brown, Executive Director of Casa Esperanza of Angels.

"Since there are other groups who will be doing similar donations during the holidays we chose to have ours in January to kick off the new year with sharing and giving," added Mr. Brown.

The City of Tanjay (population: 80,532) is a city in the province of Negros Oriental, in central Philippines. The nonprofit foundation is currently building an orphanage facility here to shelter orphans and children in distress.

Tanjay has a sizable professional work force mainly due to the presence of quality educational institutions in the city. However, many families remain below the national poverty threshold resulting in a high incidence of hunger and malnutrition among poor children in the hinterland barangays. CEA plans to conduct similar activities to assist impoverished children and their families in the future.

"This and similar activities of reaching out to those in need will be a regular event when we are able to fund and organize such events," explained Mr. Brown.

For the first time, the CEA foundation is inviting volunteers from the city to participate in this charitable initiative. The organizers hope to attract volunteers from among the city's millennials and young professionals to help facilitate the activity.

"We will be inviting volunteers from the community to assist in the organization and execution of the event," remarked Mr. Brown. "There's a sense of joy and pride to be part of a charity activity such as this, to reach out as caring neighbors to those less fortunate than themselves."

As such, every project the foundation undertakes is supported by donations from friends and family of the Browns.

"We need donations to purchase the items that will be given to these poor children and families," appealed Mr. Brown. "Your donations will help us bring happiness to these children!"
