Jahna Sebastian Releases her New Single "Aftermath"

NEW YORK - Dec. 2, 2016 - PRLog -- London based singer, songwriter and producer Jahna Sebastian releases her new single "Aftermath". "Aftermath" was written, recorded, produced, arranged and mixed by Ms. Sebastian at her studio Multivizion Music. The cover art of the song is drawn by artist Ainur Timergaliev from Ufa, Russia. When asked about the concept of the record and the artwork Ms. Sebastian stated,  "It represents a spiritual warrior mindset who is determined to win. There is a play on dark and light in it to show that one's power is emerging from the darkness into the light, gaining strength from adversities. The word play about the shadows in the chorus of the song is directly related to visual presentation of the artwork. This artwork is a part of a collaborative creative project I am working on with him and the exhibitions will follow."

Ms. Sebastian also stated, "The song is telling one of the stories from the upcoming album which is going to be a body of work expressing many emotions, artistic interpretations. The album together with the song manifest my view on art imitating life and life imitating art, while merging fantasy with reality. Just like with this song I am writing about various topics especially metaphorically representing some part of today's world history. The song is about breaking free from the chain of lies and launching into the destiny of an honest warrior. It's the beginning after the aftermath. It's the bittersweet inner victory. It's part of the philosophy I have developed. It's meant to listen to as a whole project to understand the whole story, it's like reading a book like 'War and Peace'. "

Ms. Sebastian has collaborated with Ainur on a few projects, he drew her portrait which will be fully revealed soon and has been exhibited at the gallery in Ufa. He was responsible for the portrait of her daughter Nicole for #LilGoddess project. The portraits have been shown on tv shows like Ren TV,  TuCity TV in Russia and featured in major newspapers like Komsomolskaya Pravda and Oktiabrsky Neftyannik.

Ms. Sebastian has been a staple on the fashion scene.  She attended Fashions Finest on September 17th and 18th. She sat front row as a VIP celebrity guest at the Grand Connaught rooms.  She wore a shimmery gold dress by designer David Meister. Ms. Sebastian made quite an impression on the designers she met. Jewelry designer Biblos Glasgow was so taken with Ms. Sebastian that she booked her to model for her upcoming 2017 collection. It was there she met Helen Woollams, founder of luxury womenswear brand Hellavagirl.

Ms. Sebastian has collaborated with Hellavagirl on some of the looks for the new album. Photographers Tony Hawthorne, Maurice Sparrow took pics for the photo shoot. Her glam squad was provided by Conrad Bula for hair and Anika Patelfor makeup. At FDC Creative Arts event Ms. Sebastian wore Hellvagirl for her performance and Minde LPI caputured the images and video.  She also wore a Hellavagirl headpiece at the BEFFTA Awards.

Ms. Sebastian has also been modeling for London's most sought after designers. She walked the runway for the DI Fashion Show on October 14th at Kensington Close Hotel, a high profile fashion show organized by Iskra Tsankova andDuccio Zambrini. Hair was provided by Kirpeja Londone, while makeup was done by Sabs Khan, whom Ms. Sebastian has been frequently collaborating with on various occasions during the past year.  She modeled for four designers that evening.

For the first portion of the show she walked the runway in a stunning gold dress by DM Daiva and a vivid yellow hat to complete the look by Millenary designer Katherine Elizabeth. She then modeled an exquisite black and vibrant dress with flowers by Cristina Ghivnici accessorized with a red hat by Millenary designer Katherine Elizabeth. She then rocked a silver dress by Love Seven with the same red hat by Katherine Elizabeth. Finally she sashayed the catwalk with a bold blue dress by Venera Tabakin.

"Aftermath" is available for playback and will be available on iTunes soon. Ms. Sebastian is currently working on her new album, look out for more singles which will be dropping soon.
