Brentano's Award Winning Textile Shines Bright

CHICAGO - Dec. 8, 2016 - PRLog -- Interior Design's Best of Year (otherwise known as BoY Awards) is the design industry's premiere awards ceremony, honoring products and projects worldwide.  The awards ceremony took place this December in New York City - where Brentano was awarded with a BoY award in the category Textiles: Outdoor for new indoor/outdoor pattern, Solstice.

Solstice, is as big and as bold as the celestial bodies that inhabit the night sky. The 54" upholstery's large scale repeat mimics the rising and setting sun as the vibrant tessellation of triangles dance across the face of the fabric like shooting stars. Designed for indoor and outdoor applications, Solstice offers stain resistance and bleach cleanability for wide range applications. The 100% Sunbrella® solution-dyed acrylic and polyester warp allows for extreme lightfastness and boasts an abrasion resistance that passes 50,000 double rubs (Wyzenbeek, Cotton Duck). Created to be environmentally conscientious, the pattern has received a Facts Silver sustainability certification and joins Brentano's Green label of eco-friendly textiles.  Solstice is available in seven colorways, each one embodying the mythos and beauty of the constellation that inspired them. The innovative color pairing with the uniquely sophisticated, yet durable fabric creates a textile that truly rivals the brilliance of the sun.
