25 year-old Shanice Parker, Harlem Native and Film Director Sells Out Theatre in Times Square!

NEW YORK - Dec. 13, 2016 - PRLog -- On Friday, December 9^th more than 100 New Yorkers came out to support Harlem Native and Film Director, Shanice Parker at the Magno Theatre located in the heart of Times Square.  The 25-year-old self-taught film director and writer debuted her first film Benny and Chris. Benny and Chris is a short film that depicts a female hustler and journey through life after the lost of her dad.  This short film is a narrative outlining so many life lessons, it is truly a must see.

In addition to fans, friends and family Ms.Parker was joined by the cast of the movie during this celebratory event. Many of the actors are upcoming industry elites making their own name in the underground film and web series arena such as, Yamillee Jeudy (Benny),Charles Adewale Jr. (Chris), Brian Hibbler, Donnell Van Duyne, Cassandra Jeudi, Carnell Adams, Alejandro Vasquez, Christiano Sanchez, Jordan Grant, N'dack Fleming, Brian Hibbler, Terah Jené, Shaniah Francis, Russell Van Duyne, Anthony Jimenez and Jason Parker.

The film is set to be released on DVD and Youtube on Christmas Day! A great stocking stuffer for anyone looking to support young African- American female directors.  During the event Ms.Parker was interviewed by Celebrity Journalist, Maurita Salkey. During the Q&A segment everyone was blown away by Ms.Parker's message encouraging the audience to pursue their dreams. Ms.Parker took the audience along her journey of starting her company October 2014 to directing her first movie and selling out two theatre rooms in Times Square by December 2016. The premiere of Benny and Chris was great event and Ms.Parker truly put on for Harlem with her creative approach, swagg and overall content.
