HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. - Dec. 19, 2016 - PRLog -- Colorado Rush Soccer Club is excited to announce it has reached an agreement with the Highlands Ranch Metropolitan District to play its United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) home games at state-of-the-art Shea Stadium in Highlands Ranch.

The Colorado Rush will begin play in a newly formed Regional Conference of the United Premier Soccer League in March 2017.

Colorado Rush Director of Coaching Adults Joe Webb said, "Shea Stadium is going to be an awesome location for our players to develop their skills and learn to play at a higher level. The stadium really is a beautiful place, and the turf is brand new. This is sure to give the players a truly professional feeling, so we couldn't have asked for anything more for the players in the club. I'm grateful to the district for being so terrific for us to work with on this project and accommodating all of our needs. It's really providing our guys the opportunity to make this happen."

Shea Stadium was built in 2000. At a price tag of $3 million dollars, Shea Stadium provides players and fans with the best in game-day experiences. Some of these amenities include full locker rooms with showers, ample parking lots, large concession areas, a press box and filming balcony, wi-fi and a digital
scoreboard.

The stadium seats 3,000 spectators and had a new turf and underlay installed in July 2016. The turf is high-quality Ultrablade Turf, and installed by SPRINTURF, the leading athletic turf company. The school district and the Metro District split the $676,000 cost.

Shea Stadium is located at 3270 Redstone Circle in Highlands Ranch, Colo., and located in the heart of one of the Rush's largest geographical territories. The venue will make for easy access to the players and fans.
