Affordable Family Child Care Rental Opportunity

LONG BEACH, Calif. - Jan. 9, 2017 - PRLog -- Comprehensive Child Development Services has two vacancies for Licensed Family Child Care Providers. Comprehensive was selected by the City of Long Beach to receive two units to fill the current need for Family Child Care Homes within the community. This is a unique partnership that will provide an entrepreneurial opportunity to two families/individuals while providing high-quality early care and education to a community in need of these services.

Today, Comprehensive is releasing a Request for Applications (RFA) to the community to find two Family Child Care Providers to operate and live in these Cedar Ave. homes. You can find the RFA online at www.ccdlb.org, at our main office (2545 Pacific Ave., Long Beach, CA 90806), or in front of the property (1874 & 1876 Cedar Ave., Long Beach, CA 90806). The applications are due to Comprehensive by February 17^th, 2017 (all submission instructions can be found in the Application and Cover Letter).

The property has two separated units, a shared yard and a gated parking area. The front unit will rent for $684 a month and is a one bedroom, one playroom, two bathrooms, with a separate laundry room home that is approximately 1050 square feet. The second unit will rent for $827 and is a two bedroom, one playroom, one bathroom home that is approximately 991 square feet. The yard is located between both units and features astroturf, plenty of toy storage, and a concrete area perfect for tricycles or water tables. Both units have their own washer/dryer hook-ups and are move-in ready.
