NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Jan. 29, 2017 - PRLog -- Saturday Night Live (SNL) alumna, Victoria Jackson recently lent her voice to the exciting new audio book series, "The Neverland Rascals," a new imagining of the magical world created by J.M. Barrie.  The new children's series features 13 new characters that kids love and relate to, plus the perennial favorite from the classics, Tinkerbell.  Jackson, known for her distinctive voice, was able to provide individual vocal personas for each character, and add a new level of excitement to each chapter.

"I really enjoyed this project," Jackson said. "The books were a lot of fun to read, and I'm sure the kids will love them as much as I do."

The whimsical story of Neverland is retold by children's author Ted Snyder and Sharon Espinosa. Snyder says that story ideas have always run through his head and he finally put those ideas on paper, and his first project was this exciting new adventure for kids, "The Neverland Rascals."

"The stories I am writing, come from my imagination," he explains, "but many of the stories are taken from real life adventures that I had as a child which I incorporated into the exciting escapades of the Neverland Rascals. Many of the characters in the stories are based upon real kids I grew up with.  There is nothing stranger or more fun than real life," he laughs, "Neverland is one of my favorite stories, so here we are. The stories will never end in Neverland."

Although Victoria Jackson is best known for her six seasons on Saturday Night Live, she has appeared in many films such as Weird Al's "UHF," "Family Business" with Dustin Hoffman and Sean Connery, "Baby Boom" with Diane Keaton, "The Pick Up Artist" with Robert Downey Jr.

Jackson currently lives in Nashville, and still performs stand up comedy and appears in an occasional film.  She wrote her autobiography, "Is My Bow Too Big?" in 2012 and is writing a new book about her 2015 bout with breast cancer. Now cancer free, she is also working on a new reality show based on the last item to be checked off of her bucket list,  singing at the Grand Ol' Opry, despite the obvious obstacles - her age, cancer and her voice!

The "Neverland Rascals" series is available in print or Kindle book at Amazon.Com. (https://www.amazon.com/Neverland-Rascals-orphans/dp/09965...)
