The beginning of the National Organization for Autism Rights (NOAR)

Brian D. Hill, and his family have vowed to change the Federal/State Court system to allow Autism as a criminal defense against false confessions held by the Prosecutors.

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Feb. 4, 2017 - PRLog -- Former news reporter Brian D. Hill, of USWGO Alternative News, and his mother, Roberta Hill, have created an organization to deal with the issues of Federal/State Courts and lawyers refusing to allow the criminal Defense of Autism regarding the element of the "false confession". False confessions are easily created and extracted by police officers and federal agents that used "the Reid technique".

The organization that both have founded is the National Organization for Autism Rights (NOAR).

"We have to fight for autism rights." -Roberta Hill (quoted from official website).

Brian had his photo taken with (wrongfully convicted but acquitted) exoneree Howard Dudley, after he had asked an important question at the Wrongful Convictions Symposium, located at the Dana Auditorium at Guilford College. The college is located in the city of Greensboro, in the State of North Carolina.

On February 3, 2017, the panel Christine Mumma (Esq., Exe. Director of N.C. Center on Actual Innocence), Howard Dudley (exoneree), Moderator Robert Norris (Appalachian State University), and Jamie Lau (Esq., Attorney of Duke Law Center for Criminal Justice and Professional Responsibility) had heard a question by the former alternative media head.

Brian asked the panel about Federal and State Courts not allowing Autism as a defense in Court after giving a false confession to law enforcement. It had stunned several members of the panel, and the two Attorneys had given different viewpoints on the matter.

As Brian cannot use the internet while he attempts to overturn his wrongful conviction, to be found innocent, to be exonerated just as Howard has done, his mother operates and manages the NOAR website and blog, Brian has reported.

The purpose of NOAR is to change the Federal and State Court rules in order to allow the criminal defense of Autism regarding false confessions, as people on the Autism Spectrum Disorder can exhibit behavior that police may wrongly consider a sign of possible criminal behavior. Autism is not allowed as a criminal defense to the element of false confessions, but is more based on mental insanity defenses which Autism isn't legally apart of. NOAR wants to make sure that people with Autism can fight their false confessions in Court.
