Eagle Eye University (EEU) (http://www.eepowersolutions.com/battery-training/) was founded late 2015 to further educate and increase critical power reliability & safety in the workplace. Eagle Eye offers a hands-on approach to learning about battery management, DC system design, and safety as well as IEEE recommended best practices, real time battery monitoring systems, battery testing, and data analysis!

Eagle Eye University instructors are industry specialists with countless years of instructional and hands-on field experience. Upcoming Classes Include:

Battery 101 (http://www.eepowersolutions.com/battery-training/standby-...) (March 8-9, 2017):
This course will provide the attendee with a comprehensive overview of the battery types and how they are used in Standby Power applications. It is intended for personnel who have responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the batteries in standby power systems.

DC Power Systems (June 7-8, 2017): This course covers the theory and design of the DC power systems that are typically used in standby applications. It is intended for any personnel involved in the specification, procurement and installation of DC power systems.

Battery Data Analysis (September 6-7, 2017): This course provides an in-depth look at the measurable battery parameters and their value in providing information with respect to a battery's reliability. It is intended for supervisory personnel with responsibility for the analysis of the collected battery data plus the determination of any remedial action required.

Discharge Testing & Analysis: (October 4-5, 2017): This course will outline each of the steps required to prepare and carryout a discharge test in accordance with IEEE recommended practices. It will include hands on training during which both a constant power capacity discharge and a service discharge using a typical substation load profile will be carried out.

Introduction to Battery Management for Standby Power Systems (December 6-7, 2017): This course will provide an introduction on why and how to implement a battery management program. It is intended for all personnel who have responsibility for the operation and management of batteries in  a standby power environment.

PRC-005-2 Compliance (Custom 1 or 2 Day Course): This course is designed to help Utility companies ensure that their operation and maintenance procedures are in compliance with the battery maintenance requirements of NERC PRC-005-2. It is intended for all personnel with responsibility for the implementation and operation of compliant.

In addition to the in-depth knowledge the attendees receive, a course certification will also be granted upon completion, which can be filed for continuing education units (CEUs).
