Staten Island, N.Y. –Music artist J. Stoner to debuts new single, "Stoner Chick". With a persona no doubt inspired by marijuana culture, Stoner is catering to an audience more widespread than ever. The 21^st Century talent tackles the beat with a seemingly effortless flow. In his arsenal, is a stable of weapons to which he strongly delivers in this fun filled, 420 friendly song.

Stoner comes from a long lineage of musicians, he is the grandson of David Mapp, member of The Infascinations Staten Island Mo-Town group. He is also the nephew of Don Baker from the Staten All-Stars rap group.

Born and raised in Staten Island, Stoner spent much of his teenage years in Texas where he attended DallasCarterHigh School. It was at this time that he began writing and reciting his own lyrics. After graduation, Stoner returned to New York with a new passion.

"I was always influenced by artists like Notorious B.I.G., Rakim and Nas, I have a strong east coast influence", said Stoner. "But then I moved down south and was exposed to other cultures within the rap community", he continued. This left the young M.C. with a well-trained ear and a versatility that has the potential to be universally accepted. J.
