A Hamper of Easter Promotions Brings Delightful Surprises to Customers

HONG KONG, China - April 7, 2017 - PRLog -- Easter is just around the corner! Starting from today (7 April 2017), customers may find specially designed "Easter Egg Hunting Zone" in designated MTR stations.  They are not only great for selfies, but also the gateway for a chance to win festive prizes!

Between 7 and 21 April 2017, customers can find colourfully decorated "Easter Egg Hunting Zone" in five MTR stations, namely Tiu Keng Leng, Tai Wai, Kowloon Tong, Central and Tuen Mun. Customers can experience the "Easter Egg Hunt" by counting the total number of egg images in the zone, for a chance to win prizes. By scanning the QR code in the zone, customers can submit their answers online and join the lucky draw.

"The Easter holiday is a good time to go out with family and friends. We wish to add a touch of delight to our customers' journeys when travelling on the MTR. The 'Easter Egg Hunting Zone' is not only a festive decoration, but also an interactive zone for customers to have a bit of fun," said Ms Jeny Yeung, Commercial Director of MTR Corporation.

There is also a special promotion for families who are planning a trip out of town for an Easter getaway. From now to 7 May 2017, children aged from 3 to11 holding a valid Child Octopus can travel for free on the Airport Express from Hong Kong, Kowloon or Tsing Yi Station to Airport Station or vice versa. Children can automatically enjoy this special offer when passing through Airport Express ticket gates with a Child Octopus containing positive remaining value*.

Meanwhile, the Airport Express will enhance its service during the Easter holidays to offer more convenience to customers. During the peak travel days between 12 and 14 April 2017, the first train to the Airport will depart at 5:00am from Hong Kong Station, 50 minutes earlier than usual, for customers catching early morning flights. The last train from AsiaWorld-Expo Station via Airport Station on 17 and 23 April 2017 will depart at 1:25am, 40 minutes later than normal. Airport Express

For the convenience of passengers travelling overseas, Airport Express service will be enhanced during the Easter holidays as follows:

Period: 12 to 14 April 2017

Service Details: The first train departs from Hong Kong Station at 5:00am (50 minutes earlier than normal) and at 5:26am from AsiaWorld-Expo Station (34 minutes earlier than normal).

Period: 17 & 23 April 2017

Service Details: The last train departs from AsiaWorld-Expo Station (via Airport Station) at 1:25am (40 minutes later than normal).
